RTS 3210-E (English) After You Miscarry

This booklet provides in-depth information on what patients can expect after a miscarriage. Topics include feelings of grief, how people attach, what to expect, medical terms and causes, when more help may be needed, and things that can help on the grief journey.

RTS 3210-E “After You Miscarry” is intended to serve as a companion piece to the booklet RTS 3209-E “Physical Aspects of Miscarriage,” which contains information patients need to know as soon as a concern is detected early in a pregnancy. When used together, it is best to space out the delivery of the two, providing “Physical Aspects of Miscarriage” as soon as the patient presents and “After You Miscarry” within a reasonable but short timeframe (e.g., 1-2 days). The two brochures provide wrap-around support for the entire miscarriage experience.
